To engage with customers all over the world we created J.i. - the audacious spirit of Jean Martell. He distills 300 years of history, and an encyclopedic knowledge of cognac into one sentient being.

J.i. lives as part of The Untouchable Taste expereince in Martell stores around the world. He was created as a digital touchpoint providing travellers with an engaging brand experience. Activated by motion sensors, travellers will have access to the world Martell knowledge via product details and brand heritage, all of which can be initiated using touchless technology.

We turned venues all over Ireland into musical playgrounds where everyone became a creator. Bar stools became musical chairs, table tops turned into turntables and beer crates became CR808s – even the posters for the event were playable.

An industry-first AI-powered shopping experience, the Martell Untouchable Taste guides shoppers through the Martell range, providing personalized tasting recommendations based on their preferences. As an integrated experience, the recommendation is then shared with the Martell robot bartender, which selects and serves the shopper’s recommended cognac neat, over ice, or in a cocktail.
